Description
Rawffles is an e-book with 21 raw vegan recipes for waffles: 12 sweet and 9 savory combinations, each with its own topping. Unlike regular vegan waffles, my Rawffles aren't baked. The batter is made from fruit, veggies, nuts, seeds and psyllium husk. You pour it into silicone waffle moulds and dry it in a dehydrator until the waffles are as soft or crunchy as you like them.
Waffles were my childhood favorite, and for a long time I thought raw vegan waffles were impossible. Then I came up with a really simple idea: a batter that firms up when you dehydrate it slightly, plus a fitting waffle mould. I'm Lena, a raw food coach and nutrition trainer, and I develop all my recipes myself. In this book I share my raw vegan waffles with you.
What's inside the e-book
All recipes use the same basic preparation, which I explain once, step by step. Then it's all about the waffles:
- the idea behind Rawffles and the equipment you need: dehydrator, silicone waffle moulds, blender
- the basic preparation: blend, fill the moulds, dehydrate for 4–6 hours, add toppings
- 12 sweet Rawffles, such as pear with date caramel, persimmon banana, coco mango or walnut vanilla
- 9 savory Rawffles, like zucchini with tomato salsa, cauli, corn mushroom or hummus
- quantities in grams plus pieces, spoons or cups, with notes on servings
Who this e-book is for
This e-book is for you if you love waffles and eat raw vegan, or if you'd like to add something new to your raw kitchen. The sweet Rawffles are mainly made from fruit like banana, mango, papaya or berries, so they make lovely raw vegan desserts. The savory ones are based on veggies like zucchini, cauliflower, corn or peas and go well with salads. They're a fun idea for kids, too. You will need a dehydrator and silicone waffle moulds, though.
How you get your e-book
You'll receive Rawffles as a 34-page PDF in English by email right after your purchase. Read it on your phone, tablet or computer, or print out the recipes and keep them handy in your kitchen. There's also a German edition: Rawffles (deutsch). Feel free to browse all my e-books.
