Dates Baby-more dates!!

Dates are THE topic in this post, I'll explain to you why it makes sense to eat more dates.

Dates are sooo delicious, I especially love Medjool dates, they have a consistency that reminds me of marzipan and anyone who is a little sweet tooth like me will love them! All the better that we don't have to hold back with this superfood, because dates possess so many nutrients that perfectly support a healthy lifestyle.

Many people think dates are very unhealthy due to their high sugar content. However, this cannot be confirmed. Of course, dates contain a lot of sugar, but this is natural fruit sugar, which due to the fiber, vitamins, and minerals also contained in dates, is released slowly and continuously into the blood and does not, like isolated industrial sugar, cause a rapid rise and fall in blood sugar levels.

Dates contain virtually no fat, have a high proportion of energy-providing, healthy carbohydrates, and contain more potassium than bananas. They also provide plenty of copper, magnesium, vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B7, are alkaline, and thus ensure a balanced pH level. All these properties make them the perfect fitness food and an important part of a healthy, plant-based, vegan diet.
