Raw Food Pizza 1.0

We can be hearty too!
Even though I personally am not someone who cannot live without pizza, I still created this recipe.
It is especially helpful for my customers when transitioning to a raw vegan diet. Because during the transition phase, the body has to learn to become full with water-rich food. This means you have to learn step by step to eat more volume to get enough calories from fruit and vegetables. So, anyone who still finds it difficult to eat large quantities of fruit and vegetables in the beginning can easily cover their vegetable requirement with this pizza, because it consists exclusively of vegetables!

This is my first version of a raw food pizza, versions 2 and 3 will follow in the next posts! Stay tuned!!

Pizza version 1: Pizza crust made of corn.

Raw food pizza 1.0

Preparation time: 25 minutes
Total time: 6 hours (dehydrating)

Ingredients:

Topped raw food pizza on dehydrator tray with peas and spinach leaves
  • For the pizza crust:
  • 4 raw organic corn cobs
  • 2 tbsp psyllium husk
  • For the pizza sauce:
  • 5 sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 stalk of celery
  • 2 dates
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 stalks of basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • For the pizza toppings:
  • 2 handfuls of frozen peas (or fresh) (raw)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 small red pointed pepper
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • For the raw food cheese:
  • 1/4 of the pizza crust dough
  • 1 pinch of Kala Namak
  • 4 sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes (optional)

    Preparation:

Blend all ingredients for the crust in a high-speed blender. Set aside 1/4 of this mixture for the cheese. Spread the rest of the dough on a dehydrator tray/mesh lined with baking paper, in the shape of a pizza. Dry this crust for approx. 4-6 hours at 42°C in the dehydrator oven.
For the sauce, blend all ingredients except the garlic clove, the basil and the oregano. Then add the garlic, basil and oregano and briefly mix again, so that there are still pieces of garlic and herbs in the sauce.
After 4-6 hours, when the pizza crust can be turned easily, the sauce can be spread on the crust. Cut the pizza toppings into any pieces and top the pizza with them.
Finally, spread the cheese arbitrarily on the pizza and put everything back into the dehydrator oven until the desired consistency and warmth are reached.
    Cut and enjoy.
